Classics Teams 06

Postby MJALLDAY on Sun Jun 27, 2010 4:32 am

I've been playing this patch I got here called classic teams 06 with 22 classics teams 91 Bulls, 87 Lakers, 86 Celtics, etc. I love it but the regular teams rosters are from 2005-2006. I would like to get this year's Boston and la Teams on this patch, the problem is guys like Jordan Farmar, Rajon Rondo, Big Baby Davis and Shannon Brown aren't available. How can I get their face from my NLCS onto a created player in the classic teams 06 patch?

You'll need to create the players as necessary. If you've got the NLSC roster installed you can make use of the same faces; just assign them to the players once you've created them. If need be, refer to the NLSC rosters for the PLAYERPKGs and other data.

Is changing his player package all I have to do? I used the one he had in the NLCS, "RARONDO " If I remeber right, but still the same default create a player face. I also tried changing Stacey King from right handed to left. I thought all I had to do was change the 0 under "hand" to a 1 but it didn't work either.

There are a couple of other steps for adding faces to players that are newly created:

As for changing a player's handedness from right to left and vice versa, that should be all you need to do. If you're using DB Commander, just make sure you move to another cell in the database after making the change and it should save automatically. Alternatively, you can click the tick button underneath the database window. If you've got the game running at the same time you're editing the database, make sure that you close the database before trying to re-load the roster, otherwise the changes won't be reflected in-game. Similarly, don't try and save a roster that's currently open in DB Commander as it will not save properly.
