Dynasty Draft picks

Im in the middle of my dynasty now and when i was trying to make some trades, i saw 7 teams with their draft picks listed to other teams and vice-versa.. the problem is, the trades made were not listed in the transaction list (NBA news).. i tried to simulate the season (up to the draft lottery) the teams drafted with their own picks, not with the traded picks as shown/listed.. so far there's no crashes or anything, but just wondering how the "under-the-table" transactions happened

Do you happen to be using the first beta for the NBA Live PC project that I posted? If so, that's an issue with that beta because I didn't use the original tmcareer.dbf file.

i think im using an old roster, the Remix's roster

If it's a conversion it might be an issue with tmcareer.dbf. Try replacing it with the default tmcareer.dbf file.

i did overwrite it with the default tmcareer.dbf like wat u said and tried to simulate to the 2nd season, but it was still there, same 7 teams with different draft picks.. nothings change

Try replacing all the other files with the default NBA Live 06 files, except players.dbf, appearance.dbf and coaches.dbf.

I tried to replace everything but it became blank in the re-order roster, and it crashes when i try to trade or start to play.

When i try to start a new dynasty it's still the same

Did you replace all the files or did you leave the three I mentioned before?

i overwrite everything except the 3 that u mentioned

Then that's strange, it shouldn't wipe roster data if you didn't touch players.dbf. I'm not sure what else to suggest at this time.

I encountered it when I first tried converting my 08 update for use with 06 but I was able to fix it using the method I've described.

Andrew, i hav another question bout the drafted (generated) rookies, is it possible to give them a cyberface, change their name, stats etc. and speechid?

Yes, you should be able to do that the same as you would for a player you create yourself. The same DBF editing steps would apply.

thats really cool... one last problem, how do i fix an invisible and pink hair? i mean, i can see my chris andersen (with long hair at the back) or turiaf, iverson, melo (long corn row) but its transparent.. the pink hair is with robin lopez... did u encounter problems like this in ur "on-process" 06 roster?

Are you using hair .ebo files from updates for Live 07/08?

If so, that would be the problem. I did encounter the same thing with Robin Lopez's hair when I copied the files from the 08 update.

yes im using updates for 08.. but, i also use 08 cf's for vujacic, scola and nash and it all worked, they hav long hair in my game

They'll work if the hair.ebo files for those players are from NBA Live 06.
