Missing Players after Fantasy Draft

im in year 2 with my fantasy draft team and i want to trade a player for david lee, but hes not in any of the rosters including free agents
whered he go?
and when i open the trade menu or w/e, it lets me trade with myself..?
my nba live 06 is on gamecube
