Superstar mode/change teams in Live 06 Franchise mode.

Sat Sep 09, 2006 1:32 pm

I dont know If this has been discussed but. You can have a kind of superstar mode or you can just change your team in Live 06 with just editing a dbf file. Open you franchise file if DB Commander 2000 pro. Go to teams then scroll over to ISHUMAN and change the team you want by puting True in the line Im not sure but I think you can only have one team at a time. That is how you can change teams. But If you dont know what team your player went to just open the players file from DB commander then look for your player and scroll over to team and say it says tem 24 (Kings) go into the teams file and change your team to the kings.

Team ID are here.

yup, thats fun to do; I tried it when I first got my CF. The only problem is there is no "minigame" or superstar mode to earn your players ratings... Like there is no "wall" from preventing you from making your guy 99 overall

I tried but you get your old team's news in your pda and If you go to coaching in the gm's desk the game crashes. I wonder if theres any other files you have to change.

I have tried this a couple of times in the past and it worked temporarily, but always crashed eventually. I think the reason could be that in dynasty mode, each of your players in players.dbf has two rows of information(they appear duplicated). But when you do this switch, non of your players on the new team are duplicated, meanwhile the players on your old team remain duplicated. This probably messes the game up in terms of player development, or stats or etc.

i dont really understand what u mean, but if u mean to make sorta like a superstar mode by creating a player and having him drafted, u could just do this...

example: creating andrew bogut (if u wanted to make urself u just change name, DOB, Ratings, appearance, PLYRPKG, etc.)

"cdbflite.exe" players.dbf /case /filter:ROOKIERANK=0 /filter:TEAM=39 /field:DELETED="FALSE";NAME="Bogut";FNAME="Andrew";NUMBER="4";POSITION="0";POSITION2="0";SCHOOLNUM="142";DSHOOTRANG="15";SCOREAREA="9";BIRTHDATE="19841128";DPLACE="1";FACEPATCH="False";ISGENERATE="False";PLAYERPKG="ANBOGUT";ROOKIEPKG="0" /update

"cdbflite.exe" players.dbf /case /filter:PLAYERPKG=ANBOGUT /field:OVERALLRTG="67";FGPBASE="60";THREEPTBAS="33";FTPBASE="62";DNKABILITY="67";STLABILITY="16";BLKABILITY="74";OREABILITY="70";DREABILITY="74";BALABILITY="59";OFFABILITY="69";DEFABILITY="60";SPEED="53";QUICK="40";JUMP="52";DRIBBLE="53";DSTRENGTH="68";DHARDY="68";DSHOOTRANG="20";FATIGUE="60";INSIDESC="68";THREEPTATT="10";PRIMACY="80";SCOREAREA="9" /update

"cdbflite.exe" appearance.dbf /case /filter:APPEARID=1702 /field:ID7="ANBOGUT";HEIGHT="84";WEIGHT="242";COLOR="1";BODYTYPE="2";MUSCLETEXT="1";DELETED="FALSE" /update

Save those txt files as BAT's then place them into the saved dynasty, paste cdbflite in there, run the BATs in order, and then ur a draft prospect

:P

Flite 23, good info... I always do mine manually though. Just wondering, when you do that, and the guy gets drafted, does he maintain the ratings you gave him(or close to)? Because when I do, and I draft the player, his ratings are zero in every field. So I always have to change the player's ratings after I have drafted him already. Also, the cdbflite.exe that you mention... what is it? Is it a special file I must have from somewhere else? Or do I make it myself?
