Game not sucessfully loading, Just minimizes to the task bar

Hi,

These are my specs:

OS: Win2K pro withSP2
Processor: AthlonXP 1.67 Ghz
RAM : 512 mb
Video card : Gecube 9550


The problem is that when I run the program, the NBALIVE logo appears but then it will quickly take you back to the desktop and the NBA program is minimized to the task bar. No matter how many times you click on it, it will just go back to being minimized but the NBALIVE.exe still shows on the task manager.

I tried several drivers for http://guru3d.com including modified drivers but still the same.

My antivirus is Antivir by Avira and my firewall is the safety.net. I also have adaware and spybot.


Please help!!

Hmm, Go right click on the drive the contains your nba live disc, choose explore or whatever it is to get access inside and select autoplay.

Did that but still no go

Quick question:Did you buy the game?.If so try to take it back to the store and get a new one.

Yes I did buy the original one. Well I guess I will have to return it.


By the way,I loaded XP as well and the problem is different. This time the game loads until the player intro, then it will just freeze up the PC and I need to reboot.

Is this a video card problem?? I can play GTA SA and NFS though.

If you can play San Andreas then your video card is alright.I'm not sure about your problem,but like i suggested before return the CD and get a new one.

I need to reboot.

Seems like i had to return this. I even tried disabling my antivirus and firewall just in case.

I have the sam problem. just repeat clicking the game in toolbar. a black screen will appear and keep clicking it until the ea sports screen appears.
