Help with dbf editor

I need help I can create a player on nba live 03 but i cant on 06 or 05 is there a tutorial out or can someone help me. I fill in all the columns with the info needed but it doesnt show up in the game.

First create a player in the game, just give him your name, ratings, etc. Then after u saved him open up and edit the stuff that u cant in the game.

I cant find him in which folder do you edit i have never done this on 06.
