Patches made my game too fast.

weird thing that never happened to me. i used to play this game a long time ago, now reinstalled and put all the patches that weren't available at the time:
-aiact
-lightning fix
-accurate shoe patch
-NLSC rosters
-jerseys
-courts
-about 30 cyberfaces.
the problem now is that at some points the game goes berserk and the speed of the game starts going up like crazy till it becomes unbearable. i wanted to know if there is like a limit of patches / files in sgsm folder that i can use without the game speed becoming unstable. it's kinda annoying. i've tried 4 different sets of drivers and reinstalling. the game runs just fine without patches.
my specs are:
-a64 3200+ @ 2600 mhz
-2x512 Kingston Hyperx
-eVGA 7600gt

That's odd. You mean on the menus and such, right? If your refering to the actual game speed while your playing then it's probably just your sliders. I've got a bazillion different patches in my game and it runs fine.

it's the actual game speed and of course it's not the sliders
game speed is always set to 35-40. but after 2 or 3 plays, game speed feels like it's set to 99.
