Stops installing at 53%

I recently had to uninstall my game and when I went to reinstall it its gets to 53% (done with disc 1) but it wont install anything on the second disc. Someone said on here that it could be because the CD was scratched, so I went and bought a new one, same problem. Please help me! This is so frusterating. I'd been playing for months on this machine so I know the specs are fine.

I figured it out, I had to delete all of my temp files, and then it worked. Dont know why though.
