What is that arrow and circle? Can anyone explain?

Sat Apr 01, 2006 6:36 am

thats cause you are playing on rookie level.

Sat Apr 01, 2006 6:41 am

And the arrow is to help you run your playsm, where to move your player.

Sat Apr 01, 2006 6:41 am

it means knight is going to drive that direction, i believe. i used to have that back when I played rookie, it was good to get charging fouls.

I play on allstar level and i had that very often in an Allstar game on superstar level ... :?

Sat Apr 01, 2006 6:58 am

You are kidding right :? ?

Sat Apr 01, 2006 7:13 am

Nope i don't!!!

Sat Apr 01, 2006 7:14 am

You are 100% that this happened on superstar level?
Because i only saw this on rookie level.

Sat Apr 01, 2006 7:20 am

It is allstar/superstar but NOT rookie or starter ...
so what does it show? a help where to drive to?

Sat Apr 01, 2006 7:21 am

Thats just u running a play. You press one of the D-pad buttons twice, then click the right analog stick, then you will see the plays on the court...doesn't matter what difficulty it is on. I use it a lot on Superstar, using the suffle play to get LeBron somewhat open under the hoop.

Sat Apr 01, 2006 7:23 am

But with this the game is too easy.

Sat Apr 01, 2006 7:33 am

OK .. thanks.
But i don't understand how to follow the signs ...
should i stand on the circle? follow the arrows? and what is the star for?

so how can i play the play? :)

Sat Apr 01, 2006 7:41 am

k when your on offense, double tap one of the play buttons(arrow buttons) and the name of the play will show up, then press down on the right analog stick(R3/off-ball button) and those arrows and (sometimes) stars will show up on the court, indicating where you should move and who you should pass to...

the circle with arrow is where your guy with the ball should go or be(in your pic the guy is brevin knight), the blue stars under your other players is telling you that you should pass the ball to one of them once you reach your circle, once they get the ball, more movement will happen with your players.....

now in rookie mode these arrows and circle also show up when your opponent runs a play, but your offensive play will always show up in any mode when you press the right analog stick(R3/off-ball button).. hope that helps

ok thanks, i'll try around with that  (Y)

it doesnt show up automatically when i'm in superstar difficulty, it will only show when i run the play and press offball.

In Superstar mode the arrow appears when u push the left analogic stick , go into the circle and follow the arrow will start the formation , for the stars , u need to pass the ball to the player who is in the star
