Saving the save file

Fri Mar 10, 2006 7:41 am

I was wondering if anyone knows if it would be possible to compress the save file from My Documents/NBA Live folder and save it to a floppy. The one thing that scares me about playing this game on a PC is the potential for problems with windows or something else and having to reinstall windows and lose all my progess in the game. I don't let the computer simulate any of my games and I'm playing a full 82 game schedule. Anyone who uses a computer long enough will have some problems. I don't have a cd burner only a floppy drive. The save file is about 3.25 mb in size so I thought maybe compressing it to a .zip file and saving it to floppy would work, after reinstalling windows and the game I could unzipp the file and reinsert it in the NBA Live folder. I'm not having an problems now but you never know with computers.

I strongly recommend WinRAR for you. I managed to compress my save game to only 316kb with it. And you can also use it with bigger files and divide them into parts... (y) http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar351.exe
