Talk about NBA Live 06 here.

Hi, as I told you, I'm working on a new rating machine. I wanted to tell you what's up with this:
- I modified all formulas, not completelly, but they won't give more 99 or +100 results in lots of players. I think the max in defensive rebounds I've seen by now is 97 or 98. That is applied to all formulas, so they will give an accurate rating.
- I will release it as soon as possible, maybe this weekend or even before. The only problem I have with this is that I have downloaded the German version of Visual Basic 6.0 and I don't understand a shit. So I'm tryin' to get a legal Wink copy of the program in english or spanish. When I can, I will start programming, and that's the easiest thing now that I already made the formulas. Thanks for waiting, I hope you will like the program, at least I love it. Thumbs Up

Hi ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, let's get ready to rumble with the newer version of the rating machine (2.0). The formulas work really well as I said before and it's in horizontal format, so it's more comfortable to calculate NBA ratings from NBA.com stats. Well, at least you could try it. PS: NO MORE +100 Ratings, or even all that 99 stats, promised. Try it please.
DOWNLOAD V 2.1 (fix)
This is a better version, with no decimals and with primacy formula. Thanks to Marco (Dirk41) and Sostaco for the help

It means Fatigue, because I'm never sure if in the game it's called FATIGUE or STAMINA... I'm so lazy to check it

I know it's really important, but I decided not to include it here, because works better if you compare it with the rest of the team. It's ratings' thing, don't worry. We're working in another type of rating machine, this one is provisional, but works well.
Anyways, for 2.1 (maybe released soon if I have to fix something) I will try to include a new primacy formula, I'm testing it and by now it works well. I still have to test the results in the game of that formula, but I think It will be ok.

what is this machine doing?
Fri Jan 20, 2006 9:41 pm
it calculates new ratings for players, so then you can edit the players' rating yourself to reflect real life.

That can be a library error. Try to update windows.

Deffensive awareness needs another stats than the regular ones, not only steals and blocks.
