Hey,

I was a silent reader of this board.... :)

i played the NBA Live Series since NBA Live 95 and i thinging a long time about to buy nba 06 :)
Ok so i just do it and the first lock is smooth. But after approximately 4 hours playing time my feelings about the game are conflicting.

Positive are the better ingame grafics, the very cool music - if like this music style  - the smooth moves of the players, the reports of the staff

But....a low resolution for rosters etc, that i must scroll to lock at the complete roster...... :? Also ohter screens looks bader as last year....to much Xbox influence.... again like every year no practice for config the pad in the config screen...much more pushing triggers for special moves.... (stick back trigger 2x 4 etc  ) and an very big thing......Player Post up where is post up ???

In NBA 05 for example dish the ball to Shaq inside or a other big men player he post up and he push the devender slowly into the paint..and finsh...
I look with the board searching function, but after 900 postings...puhh i give up  .....and the last big thing.....yes last year it was blocking...this year it is off rebounding.

Marc

Happy X-mas at all ! :D :xmas:

Find the forum regarding "back down". in xbox, just push the right analog downwards to do it. if you're using pc, just download PPJoy. You aren't a silent reader dude. hehehe.. you're just silent. it was posted several times here. i think it was even stickied. 900 postings you say... right.. boy am i "surprised and shocked" at you. lol. :D

^Was that sentence supposed to make sense?

Anyway, Tim leaving this board has nothing to do with what your question is, and your question is already answered by furbysaur anyway.

Push down on stick results in my player forcing his way to the basket. The animation starts off with him going forward and then backs down. it really does not look realistic at all. i have bosh in season 7. he is a 99 rated. i pass to the low post and press down on the stick. he just pushes the guy aside (jn most cases) w/o having a back down animation. this game needs 4 things to be great.

1). better interior defense. i don't want my C and PF to shoot over .600 for a season.

2). fix CPu offensive rebounds. the one where they get 3 or 4 in a row is a joke.

3). dynasty stats - how hard could it be to show a players stats by year. plus player awards. and store the awards by dyansty. now if i have 2 dyanstys i get both in the same stupid place.

4). CPU AI - I had Basih foul out with 9 minutes left in the 4th and a close game. the CPU should have went inside to Chandler and Curry (never made trade). but the game continued with horrendous outside shooting. Plus, if every time the CPU double teams in the post i kick out for an open three then adapt.

This better not be another one of those freeze or shock things
