How many games does a player have to play to be listed in the MVP candidates and league leaders lists?
I have kobe who got injured three times and out of 55 total has played only 20...will he ever be a candidate?

I believe a player has to have played more than half the season to be eligible in NBA Live 06. I'm pretty sure the qualifications for the league leaders are the same ones used in the real NBA, which you can find over in the stats section at NBA.com.

well for your first question there is no number of games. if you played one game with Kobe and he got 35 points and got injuredfor the next three weeks unless another player in the leauge got more that 35 you will have that scoring title even while hes out. same with the mvp. if the numbers he put up gave him a mvp slot he will keep that spot unless some body put up better numbers even while he's out.
Now for your second question if he's not up there already i dont think he can up his numbers to be the mvp with only 7 games left. All i can think of is hire a great injury coach in the off season.

Kobe has like 34ppg 8.5rpg 9.5apg 3.2spg 0.8bpg and is shooting like 52%...in like 22 games...im on game 58 in the season...THE ALLSTAR CAME and he wasn't chosen...and he's not in MVP candidates list nor he is in league leaders although the top PPG right now is like 32 (Iverson)

well i wouldn't not count on it. but on the bright side kobe rating wont drop by even one in the next 5 years so in the off season hire a good injury coach if you dont want a short injury pleaged season with kobe

What do you mean it won't drop in the next 5 years?
Yeah a better injury coach is needed

He's ratings won't drop for another 5 years because he's young and in his prime.

without any training, kobe was at 95-99 until 2011 in my simmed dynasty

lol wtf that is insane..
i simmed the whole 30... best dude... u would not believe it.. it was HA! rating of 89. some damn random chance
kobe was a 91 when he retired...
but i actually found it goes down a little but probably cause others put up better numbers
