how does the data "learning" work?

Thu Dec 15, 2005 6:36 pm

i don't gotta the relation between destiny and learning
ex. in my dynasty, travis outlaw's destiny is 4 but his learning is as high as 81 !!! but Al Jefferson just reverse, destiny=0, learning=66......

can someone tell me in detail?

Just a guess...maybe DESTINY is related to how much a player will improve regardless how often you train him, while LEARNING sets how much he will develop if you put him through practice

yea i was wondering about that too, very interesting

is low destiny good?
eg. 4 worse than 0

Yup, the lower the better. If you put 1 in all of your players destiny, they will develop faster. I've tried it

0 is even better, i use it sometimes on my rookies

I didn't knew you could put a 0 there. I might try that next time (Y)

wats the use of workethc in the players.dbf?

Sun Jan 01, 2006 10:32 am

It works in conjunction with the other development ratings to determine the likelihood of a player improving or declining. Players with a good work ethic rating will benefit from training sessions and are more likely to stay in shape.
