Uggh, I probably edited 60% of the players in the game. It was not fun.

And after you edit players you have to make sure the teams overall's are realistic which required even more editing.

Did anyone else have other teams rise and fall rating wise when you edited players on a completely different team? Why does that happen?

I edited every single active NBA player, using formulas based on season and career averages in each statistical category, to make the game more accurate. Scary.

Wed Dec 14, 2005 7:21 am

I haven't edited any. I created myself at 67 overall. Thats about the only thing that I have done in connection with the ratings.

Then, of course, I downloaded a few roster patches, chose one and started a dynasty with one of them. Now I try to raise ratings by training.

Can you upload your rosters please with those ratings, it'd be really interesting to try them out and see how much better it is. Doing it mathmatically (based on stats) seems to be the fairest way hmm

How did you edit attributes like jumping when there is no stat for that? Leave it as it is?

Thanks

Yeah!, That is a great idea... I had it in mind but damn I knew it would take forever to do.

Upload it if you can!

------------

I updated PSP's rosters with the official EA updater and they still havent even put payton on the heat yet. EA kinda SUCKS at times...

I'm currently re-working my rosters, as my players.dbf became corrupted and I neglected to back it up. So I've re-done Atlanta through Houston, and should be able to bang out the rest within the next week or so. After that, I'll send my players.dbf to whomever is interested, sure.

Sat Dec 17, 2005 4:42 am

great , but can you post the formula?

Sat Dec 17, 2005 7:53 pm

I only edit the underrated players. I leave the overrated players' ratings the way it is, adds more challenge and difficulty when playing against them.
