Nba Live in 16-bits color

Hi. My PC is kind of old:
- P4 1.7 Ghz
- RAM 256 Mb
- Video Geforce 2 MX 64 Mb (bleeergh! )
So I mst play the game with all gfx in minimum, and 640 x 480 res. If there was a way for me to set the game to 16-bits, instead of 32-bits as is now, I could raise the res and maybe the FPS would increase too.
Please somebody help me!

The Bits can't change I've heard. Sorry.
