do i have to enable custom art or something? i ask because my game is not showing the finals logo update - the one that puts a trophy on the court in the finals. i put it in the proper folder, but it never shows on any team i've tried. do i have to enable custom art?

There is no custom art feature in 06 or 2005 for that matter. I'm not sure what your problem is.

I'll try to help. What folder did you put them in, and what was the file extension (.fsh, .big, etc.)?
