Showtime part deux

Wed Nov 09, 2005 2:25 am

I'm trying to build a dynasty with these things in mind:

I want it patterned after the 80's lakers team using current players (limited by 06 trade restrictions). Feel free to criticize my choices:

Magic - Lebron (Big Superstar PG)
Scott - Damon Jones (Shooter)
Worthy - Marion (Quick highflyer)
AC - Varejao (any PF)
Kareem - Z (slow scoring center)
Coop - Bowen (defender)
Rambis - Najera (scrappy guy)

I had to use Cavs since they have already have a slow, scoring center and a big-bodied PG (i know he's a SF now, so sue me)

Any ideas, if i could've done better?

Also, I'm thinking of building an 80s celtics team and this is what i came up with:

DJ - Jaric (big steady PG) <---needs work i know
Ainge - Brent Barry (shooter)
Bird - Dirk (cant think of anyone else)
McHale - Duncan (smart PF)
Parish - Zo (old warrior)
sichting - kapono (shooter)
walton - deke (aging veteran)

And while I'm at it, I'm considering a Bad Boys Pistons team as well:

Zeke - Iverson or Arenas?
Dumars - Billups (steady midrange shooter/defender)
Dantley - Jamison (lowpost scoring SF)
Mahorn - A. Davis (rough veteran)
Laimbeer - Okur (outside shooting center)
Salley - Steven hunter (tall gangly young man)
Rodman - can't think of a bench player that rebounds and defends well
Vinnie - Gordon (who else?)

So, i'd like to hear other people's ideas for these rosters?

And am i positng this on the right thread? if not sorry.
