Changing rosters mid-season: Is this possible?

Tue Nov 08, 2005 1:39 pm

Is it possible to apply Andrew's roster to a season you already started? Is it as simple as going to Windows Explorer and moving a roster file over into your specific save game directory? This problem has bothered me in the last 10 NBA Lives. The only way I could adjust the rosters to match reality is to either A) manually edit them or B) load rosters, and start new season from scratch. None of these are good alternatives.

You can overwrite the dbf files but you'll lose season data.

u can do it by update query fuction in Access.

example only change FG rating , dunk ,speed ,team ,salary, etc. But leaving the season date . that is completely automatic . And u can save the query ,too.

Plz download the latest patch.

http://alexmary.ys168.com/

click "nbalive2006 files"

then click "Z13.JPG"

That is an interface of Access,

players is nlsc roster

players1 is my dynasty roster

now I click that exclamation mark, it can update those properties in the list automaticly.

Thanks

Thanks, I'll try that. I was never good with MS Access but I'll give it a shot. So if I copy over my DBF files from Andrew's patch-created directory, there won't be any error messages or anything right? I don't care so much about stats or anything. Just teams having the correct rosters.
