2004 was the best???????????????????????????????????????????

i was crusing around the web, and i find a photograph of vince carter dunking in LIVE 2004, and it looks good, man. i have 2005(don't even get me started) and have PLAY 06, improve graphics, but 2004 looks better than 06, not to mention 2005. i don't really know, since i don't have 2004.
but the carter thomahawk looks sick!

you're actually quite wrong. 2006 is definitely better looking than 2004

Graphics-wise? 2005 and 06 are definitely superior to 2004. Although, 2004's patching capabilities were great since we had the tools to edit almost every facet of the game

In my opinion, NBA Live 06 and 2005 are superior in terms of graphics. But I had a lot of fun with NBA Live 2004, no question. It was quite refreshing after NBA Live 2003.

I agree that the graphics are better this year, better faces, texture on players and body definition etc, however I prefer the player sizes/proportions in 2004. This created the illusion of playing with actual players of different sizes. E.g., Ben Wallace looked and felt like Ben Wallace when controlling his character. The models were scaled well IMO. I played 2004 the other day just to compare the progress made. I knew since last year that something was amiss. This was confirmed again when I played the game. The camera angles also has bearing here. The further away view kills the action. Now, we see big headed players with smaller bodies. What happened here? Am I the only one who sees this?

I think 2005 is better than 2004 and 06 is more enjoyable then 2005, so in my opinion the current game is the better game!
