Talk about NBA Live 06 here.

This question usually gets asked every year...and I'm asking it this year. Does PT matter at all in rookie development? In the earlier Lives, players would have the exact same development no matter how much playing time they got. Has this changed? Has anyone done the experiment of saving the game and running through a few years twice to see if roster position affects player development?
And why does the game repeat draft classes? I assume they're generated randomly, but that wouldn't explain why the same classes pop up now and then. Does the game have several thousand pre-generated draft classes or something?
Strange.

Based on what I've seen PT has no effect on player development in the offseason. Neither does coaching them in the regular season have an effect on if they'll improve in the offseason. I've been trying to develop my 7'1 small forward who can shoot for 5 years now using coaches on him in the season and starting him over higher ranked players, but he never improved from one offseason to the next outside of the devleopment I forced upon him, and even went down a point this last offseason at 27. I've finally give up on him.
as for the repeat draft classes I've never seen that, so I don't really know, it would seem odd though considering a random generator couldn't be THAT hard to make I'd imagine as to need actual set classes.
