NBA Live 2006 - PC Rosters accurate as of when?

Tue Oct 25, 2005 7:27 am

Hi Everyone,

I hope you can answer my question as I've spent quite a bit of time searching for this before I decided to post.

On the PC version of the game, what date are the rosters accurate as of?

Thanks in advance,

Will.

Hey, welcome to the site/forum :)

The rosters on PC are as accurate of August 4'th. Although since its PC, roster patches become almost an inevitable update

Hey, thanks a lot buddy!

Wow, August 4th... that's early! Guess I'm gonna have a lot of work to do tomorrow evening when I get the game!

Your name sounds familiar... I'm sure I've used some of your patches in the past, you ever make cyberfaces? I've been a visitor the the NLSC since the days of NBA Live 99... man, I remember going on here getting Paul Pierce's cyberface when he was a rookie... man that's a while back!

Anyways, thanks again for responding! Enjoy the game.

Will.

Yea, it was surprisingly early this year; but as I said, a roster patch will fix that right up.

I've done some patches, yea, but mainly shoes (just a couple of cyberfaces).
I got to the site around 2000, and I didn't venture into the forum until late 2002; but you waited a little longer than that I see..

Do you think it would be better to just buy it on the PC rather than a console? I have PS2, and I actually like to do the roster updates myself, but there is a lot of cool patches for jerseys and stuff that I would like to get.

It depends on a couple of things. You need a good video card to get the quality of PS2, and you'd probably want a converter thingy to use your PS2 controller with the PC.
