How to Add Players to all star teams ?

Sat Oct 22, 2005 6:14 am

Hi, I'm new with all the patching thing.

I'm trying to add Sharunas Jasikevizius to the Europian allstar team.

I made a copy of his record from Indiana and changed (on the new record) his team number to 43. now he is in the Europian team but whenever i try to play with the Europian team - the game crushes.

I noticed that the position of the team rosters are wrong - there are two players at the same roster position (10) . I tried to delete raul lopez from the team but even when I deleted his All star record he still apears in the roster (I cant see him in the db anymore on that team)

Can anyone help me with this ?

Deleting players from the database usually causes problems. Move the player you do not want to the referee (38) team. Just change his team number. Make a backup of your good save folder first.

For Sarunas Jasikevicius:
1) copy his Indiana record, append it to the database. It should now be the last record. Change his PLAYERID (last record +1). Change TEAM to 43. Change the ROSTERPOS so that no team member uses the same number (0-14 are valid). You can fix the roster positions in-game later. Remember his initial PLAYERID = 1412.
2) Open appearence.dbf. Find APPEARID = 1412. Copy this record and append. Change APPEARID so that it equals the new PLAYERID. This should also be the last record.

Start the game and re-load your rosters.

This tutorial may be of some use. The procedure remains essentially the same.
