i hit a 3 to tie !!! then camera angle changes? wtf?

Wed Oct 05, 2005 11:02 am

i just had a close game where i hit i 3 with like 20 seconds to go and then all of a sudden the game camera angle changed to an angle from high up in the right corner of the stadium looking at the court?!

i couldn't see a thing, and checked camera options and it was still set as basecourt high. is this a glitch, did i press something, or is this ea's idea of making a close game f*#ked?

thanks

Yeah I heard about this... I heard that the camera basically stays in a wird place, and remains like that till the end of the game.

well that is just f#*cked. You can't see a thing. it makes it impossible to even know where you even taking a shot from. Surely there is a way to disable this. :?

For all the glitches that u guys seem to talk about here and in the other threads, i havent experienced any. is it just me or what??

Wed Oct 05, 2005 11:55 am

just you man. i really like 06 but this feature alone has got me really pissed off. i don't understand ea's objective in this last "close game camera change" feature. Is it to make it harder to win a close game? either way someone from ea was on crack when they thought of this feature

GRRRR!

OK I consider myself the chief lobbier for a patch for this. I am pretty sure I know what happened. If you look at TV coverage for close games and someone hits a big shot, they will often go to this camera angle way off in the rafters to show the crowd's reaction. That is a cool touch by the guys in Live 06' but the huge bug is that the camera never returns to normal (even after you mess with camera settings).

Bottom line is that your amazing shot, tight game is completely ruined as you cannot play anymore. Anyone not experiencing this major bug has not hit a big 4th quarter/overtime shot with the appropriate triggering factors. Once you get this bug, you will be unbelievably pissed off so you might as well join us now and demand a patch.

This is the most jarring f*ck-up in NBA Live history IMHO. Patch Please!

yeah that makes sence. I can not understand for the life of me how the fuck ea don't look over the game for critical errors like this. how do we go about requesting a patch for this?

I have had the same exact problem, as well as the commentary skips and hesitates alot. I playing on Xbox. Is this problem on PC as well?

Live 06 (N) Eeerrr.... That bug also happened to me when I'm still playing live 06 last week, I used the clippers and Cassel hit a big three in 2nd overtime and suddenly the camera angle goes into the corner far away and stayed just right there, btw I played the game on PS2.

i second that. its kinda wierd how EA spends months at a time developing games and on the fist day of release people can list a million bugs. And sometimes its simple stuff that could have easily been fixed.

yeah this is amazing how many bugs there is
