Is something wrong with my playstation or the game?

The gameplay is normal...but the commentary and P.A. guys are lagging!!!! I'll go to the line and shoot free throws, and the P.A. guy will still be talking about the free throws while i'm playing defense. and everytime I watch the intro video...it skips like the game has marks on the back of it.....what da hell wrong with this...

I believe the Playstation because it is showing its age now. Mine broke down a few months ago because the disk drive suddenly wasn't working properly.

my ps2 is gettin old too, the commentary on mine is fine but the loading is really slow and sumtimes freezes while loading

My PS2 froze twice on the first game of two new dynastys I started so it wasn't a big deal... The same thing happened when I first purchased NBA Live 2005 actually... But as with 05' after those first two freezes the game has been working perfectly for me =P.

with the ps3 coming out soon, i don't think it's advisable to buy a new ps2.

Mine froze twice already although the commentary is ok. The free throw button works fine for me.

Yeah mine is the Free Throws wont react for me on my PS2 min... when I press the button! But my commentary is on point!

my ps2 is old too and it freezes while loading on mine too!
