The diagram shows you where the players will be (or move to) when you run the play. Notice that big circle? That's YOU with the ball when you call the play.

Still don't get it...so if i m Iverson callin Philly, the blue circle is AI as you said, but it doesn't go anywhere???n what bout the other 4 players??

The blue circle is the player with the ball (that's you). It doesn't mean it's Iverson. It's just whoever has the ball and is calling the play. So if you're Webber with the ball and you call a play, then Webber would be the blue circle.

The circles in the diagram DO NOT MOVE. They only show you where the other players will move to when you call a play.

So let's say you're Iverson. You have the ball and you call a play. Sometimes you'll see a big circle on the court --- move to the circle, it will disappear, and you'll see the other 4 players moving to where they're supposed to be. Congratulations, you just called a play.

When you have called the play, push Off The Ball button. Now big circle should appear..

the diagram in the playbook is useless as I've mentioned in another thread.

How come I have to try all those plays myself?

How about if I am playing the game and want to choose another strategy that I seldomly use? or even never use before?

Does it mean that I need to play some quick matches for practising all the plays before getting deep into the dynasty mode?

How about I forget the plays' names during a game?

I couldn't preview the play. It's sad that EA took it out this two years.

It just me or Playbox goes to default every game ?

Remember the NBA.com has showed the plays that the teams in the nba use b4? like they have the diagrams and the actual videos? They are the plays in LIVE 06, cuz i rmb the philly play and when i use it, ai does cut underneath the hoop after getting the picks from sammy n webber and make an open jumper, although i cannot find those plays in nba.com now so plz help to find them then we will know how to use the plays...
