noob questions: ratings

Wed Sep 28, 2005 4:45 pm

Hi im new to the live series and was wondering:
um is the FG rating for mid range shots?
and ins are close shots right?
then does a player's post up skills are determined by power only?
what's the Hardiness for?
k thx in advance

I always thought...

FG is from anywhere
Inside is how good a player is at making shots from 0-8 feet
Post up skills....inside, dunk, FG....
Hardiness is for how easily he gets injured. (the higher the less likely he will get hurt.)

fg is anything inside the 3pointline and outside the paint.
ins is close shots
a players ability to power players downlow is determined by his power
hardiness is ur ability to not get injured

You guys are dead wrong...

Field Goals are for regular jumper two pointers from anywhere inside the three point line.

3pt is for threes.

Inside Scoring is for lay-ups, hook shots and other low-post shots, but not for close normal shots.

Dunking is for dunks...

When you use the shooting button without posting up, it's always a "field goal" or a "3pt shot"... When you back down your opponent and make your move from there, it's done with "inside scoring"...

I've always thought of it this way... But what do I know...
