Putting in a Patch

Ive started my dynasty, and played 4 games that i dont want to do again - but i want to put in the real roster made by someone here.

1. Is it possible to do this, but keep the current dynasty save game?
2. where do the patches go?
3. can i edit to patch to change my team according to the trades ive already done?

A roster patch is usually only the players.dbf, that is put in your save game folder (/My Documents/NBA Live 06/saves/*name of savegame*/). To completely replace the roster, just replace the players.dbf with the new one; but I don't think there's an easy way of doing so that you keep the stuff that you want. The only way I see doing that is to open up the new players.dbf (with a program like this) and make the same changes in there that you've done earlier in your dynasty.

so if i put in fitzys patch now, will my dynasty save game update to use his rosters?

Yes, but it will take away all the trades, edits and stuff like that, that you've done already..

Will it take away stats?

I'm not sure, but I think it'll take away the players individual stats. You better check with Andrew about the details since he's the 'roster guy'..

I'm pretty sure u can just replace the players.dbf, but u need to edit some fields, like inseason = true
