lol at Allan Houston losing weight and getting cut the next season, it's not like he was fat before or something :P

The FTA stat still suck, Kobe averaged I'm assuming about 5.9 [if he played 82 games], and at most 6._ something. Tmac lead the league in scoring with 26.2, Kobe, Iverson, and Amare should all pass that. League BPG leader was Rasheed with 2.34 or something like that, Webber lead the league in total points , so he averaged at least 25.3 PPG. KG wasn't grabbing 10+ DRPG, and Boykins lead the league in 3PT% :?

cool thanks!

well it didnt say houston was FAT just NOT CUT ... shouldnt there be more players for player evolution ????????? for instance, frye is a thin guy, witht he athleticism workouts and stuff, he sould probbaly have gained muscle... and more people should be in the player evolution

look at the screen of Q winning the 3pt contest.. looks NOTHING like him lol

He's saying that 26.2 is a pretty low league leading figure... Like I said before, EA made no changes to the lame ass simulation engine. Pretty much Live 05 with new animations and a new color scheme. Major game flaws still not touched probably due to "time constraints" as EA would like to put it... every year.

Thu Sep 15, 2005 12:22 pm

26 is just fine. stop complaining about every little thing. i'm sure thats not the highest possible.. it just happened to be in the certain season played. chill

Thu Sep 15, 2005 12:25 pm

T-mac should've lead.. How did Webber?

Thu Sep 15, 2005 12:37 pm

I just don't like it when your not so known scorers start dropping league leading points... And the elite scorers underachieving, its like EA is stuck with the 2003-2004 season PPGs.

Thu Sep 15, 2005 12:39 pm

Thats what I was thinking
Webber should never lead in any category

Thu Sep 15, 2005 1:02 pm

did any one notice in the 3pt shoot out with Q. Richardson that the shot clock and the game clock are out of sync

http://media.sports.ign.com/articles/65 ... 69950.html
a difference of about 0.6 secs

http://media.sports.ign.com/articles/65 ... 69934.html
a difference of about 0.9 secs

FLAWS

Thu Sep 15, 2005 1:07 pm

Hmm thats funny
I never would have noticed that

Thu Sep 15, 2005 1:15 pm

Ha nice pick up mate (Y)

Thu Sep 15, 2005 1:35 pm

I see the draft is as shit and uneventful looking as ever  I like the player progression screen thing.

Thu Sep 15, 2005 1:54 pm

Yah I agree on the draft.....

Dude this is my 100th post. :o

Thu Sep 15, 2005 2:55 pm

Why don't they allow 5 on 5 practices with rookies? ugh...or a summer league maybe?
These are EASY programming things to implement. It's not like that's asking much...

Thu Sep 15, 2005 4:36 pm

I'm liking this a lot...sounds way superior to Live 04 in all aspects.

The shot clock will display 6 once it's 6.0 on the game clock, so eg. 8 will be on the shot clock from 8.0 till 7.1.

looks good

Yes I am, unless JVG get's fired, it's not likely. He's on a JVG slow paced team, and he's not the only option on the team, so he won't lead the league in scoring with that in place.

I was joking, but I like that addition, it's definately an interesting one....

Thu Sep 15, 2005 10:02 pm

EA told us we were going to be able to play draftees 5 on 5, or not?

Another thing, what's up with Portland making the playoffs???? They have one of the weakest roster in the league...

Uhm...this game isn't gonna be any good....

Thu Sep 15, 2005 10:16 pm

Sweet some pretty cool NEW stuff....like the losing weight,

Fri Sep 16, 2005 12:16 am

no MLE, but I like the player evolution screen....I just imagine The X going from slightly overweight to morbidly obese during his career

Great find. (Y)

The training sounds much better and realistic this year, since it's going by a budget rather than earning Dynasty points. A definite improvement and step forward in realism there. It makes a lot more sense to have all of your players training but schedule in-depth workouts for specific players.

Player evolution seems great too, it's in the same vein as some of the things we've been asking for in the Wishlist (players being in or out of shape, increasing/decreasing in weight, etc). It's a nice idea to have the snapshot as well.

Stats look a bit sketchy but I'm hoping that those are "freak" occurences.

All in all it looks like Dynasty Mode should be alright. Depending on how the gameplay is, NBA Live 07 might see a lot of "mode" stuff being reworked, improved and expanded with small tweaks to the gameplay, new and better animations, etc. Guess we'll soon find out.
