Edit player template

Is it possible to access a player's template of an existing player?
In live 2004 it was possible to choose between offensive or defensive style of play in player creation.

It's been a while, but aren't CAP templates still there? They might've just been dumbed down/had a few templates removed in subsequent games.

I searched the entire forum but found nothing about it.
I'm interested in player rating and how to do an automatic template (offensive C, defensive C, offensive PF, defensive PF, playmaking oriented playmaker etc...) instead of adjusting the player's characteristics one by one (shot, defense, blocking, strength ...).

In game.
When you make a player but that player already exists and you want to change his playing style (FG, Pass, 3PT, Def.Aw. Etc ...).
Above its values there is an unavailable option regarding the template.
It was available in NBA Live 2004 and we could choose an existing player as: Offensive oriented C, Defensive oriented C, offensive oriented PF, defensive oriented PF, offensive oriented SF, defensive oriented SF, offensive oriented SG, defensive oriented SG, offensive oriented PG, defensive oriented PG, passing oriented PG, etc...
