fake, then shoot - defender doesnt jump

Is it just for me or everybody? And how do I fix it?

Adjust the CPU slider for fakeout discipline to lower.

I put it to 30 and its the same..
When i shoot defender jumps to block it but when I fake and then shoot defender never jumps so I get uncontested shots.

Is it the same for everyone or is it just my game?

It also depends on the player guarding you. If his defensive awareness is high, he's not easily "faked"... I do get that at times...

No, it would be setting fakeout discipline higher, so they wouldn't get faked out.

I just did a quick test, and the cpu never jumped after I pumpfaked and then took a jumpshot. I even tried pumpfaking multiple times.

i love exploiting this! especially when using a 5'9" sf (me) against a 6'10" sf. saw this from the beginning of using 06

Sorry Pdub, I was under the impression that opposite7 wanted the defender to jump when the shooter fakes his shot; setting the fakeout discipline higher will not get him to jump right?

Yes, but I think it might only have to do with the freestyle moves and when a defender gets juked. I haven't really tested to see if it makes any difference with pumpfakes.
