How Do You Install a player Patch?

How do you install a patch for a player sutch as michael jordan


heres the instruction i got with the patch, i understand all of it but step i dont know were players.dfb is,also and m supose to use the eagrap or any other special tool for this?.

How to Install:

(1) First create Michael Jordan:
1.Create him ingame (if benji ever releases his roster this won't be a problem but till then use
your own discretion)

2.go to players.dbf of your roster

3.change the ISCREATED, FACEPATCH, ISGENERATE to False and SpeechID to 467(The commentators will say his name)

4.change his PLAYERPKG to MIJORDA

5.save

(2) Afterwards:
1.Extract the files from the .zip to the sgsm folder

To install the portrait extract plyrprts~MIJORDA.big to the sgsm folder

you need to have the DBF Commander program...its in the Downloads section

I found the other columns but I'm not seeing the FACEPATCH column in in the players.dbf w/ DB Commander

It should be right after the ISCREATED field.

the column right after "ISCREATED" is "ISGENERATE"

I'm using DB v6.6 is there a newer one?

That shouldn't matter; it's the content of the NBA Live database, not the version of DB Commander. I'm guessing you're editing NBA Live 07 which doesn't utilise the FACEPATCH attribute; the above instructions pertain to NBA Live 06, which still uses the FACEPATCH attribute in players.dbf. You won't have to worry about that step.

My mistake, it was removed in NBA Live 06 as well. You don't need to worry about that step.
