just wondering about hinrich's ability to dunk.. i ve seen him throw it down a few times in real life, but i can NEVER get him to do it in the game..

his dunk rating isnt too bad, its like in the 40's so he should at least be able to dunk on a fast break or smtg.. but he never does - just lay-ups and finger rolls..

i thought his height was a factor, but i was able to dunk with duhon who's shorter and not as good at dunking.
then i remembered that hinrich was white and thought that was why.
but then i dunked with jaskevicious on a fast break, with a dunk rating of 6..

hahaha does hnrich ever dunk in this game? and if his dunk rating improves through training to somewhere in the 50's, would he be able to dunk then?

Depends which roster you're using. A player's ability to dunk is governed by his DUNKPACK value, which is a hidden rating in NBA Live 06. There's a couple of dunk packages that do not allow a player to dunk at all even if his dunk rating is in the 40s. If a player does have a dunk package that allows him to perform any dunks, the frequency and success is governed by his dunk rating.

so if (hypothetically) i train hinrich up to a killer dunk rating, and get him all the other ratings he needs to be a highflyer, he cant dunk cos of his dunkpack?

damn thats annoying. im on xbox too so i cant edit anything. :evil:
