I've traded Shaq, Payton, Williams, Walker and Mourning in season 1 and drafted a few rookies and signed some free agents.

In season 3 this is my line up

Mitchell Dixon C (generated player, rebouding player overall 70)
Dwight Howard PF
Gustave Rowell SF (generated player, defensive awareness 90)
Dwayne Wade SG
Chris Paul PG

Milicic C/PF (trained up his blocking and def aware)
Haslem PF
Tkachuk 7"2 SF/PF (generated player with 3 point shot)
Ali Gillison SF (generated player with dunking and speed)
Greg Turner Swingman (generated player good for penetration)
Flip Murray
Kirk Hinrich
Andriuskevicius
Simien
Mourning 6"6 PG (Generated rookie, poor skills but his height is crucial for this team as I have a small back court)

Do you guys think it's stacked with 3 potential superstars (Howard,Wade and Paul)? Paul and Hinrich share time at the point depending if I need a good penetrator or shooter.

I'm in late January of my Dynasty and considering some trades before the trade deadline. Should I trade for picks or players? I have about 4m of cap space but 2 expiring contracts and I intend to resign both Howard and Rowell.

I don't think your team is too stacked
You should trade Hinrich for a young center and filler with expiring contract. That would allow you to resign Howard and Rowell.

Ok to break you roster down:

C/PF: You have a rookie starting Center, with Milicic and Howard you have two players capable of playing Center and both are good on the defensive end. With Haslem and Simien you have decent big men too. I think this is a great plus, but a waste of talent. I would trade away Haslem for e.g. Nenad Krstic. Start Krstic at Center, and use your rookie as backup. Howard should be starting PF and Milicic is a solid backup too.

SF;´: As you use only generated rookies at this position it's hard to suggest something. Considering your comments on their playing style you should do well with them.

SG/PG: You have great players capable of playing SG and PG. Hinrich and Wade. And you have Paul as starting PG too. I think your backcourt is a little bit stacked. Trade away Hinrich maybe along with Haslem for Krstic and a backup PG. If you do not want to acquire them, you may trade him for a starting SF like Gerald Wallace.

Bench:
Seems quite ok but as I mentioned above, you should consider trading someone for a backup PG or SG. Look for someone who is capable of hitting threes. Maybe Korver can be a good match when you let him play the SG spot.

So my suggested Rosters would be:

C: Krstic, Dixon
PF: Howard, Milicic
SF: Gerald Wallace/Tkachuk
SG: Wade/Korver
PG: Paul/Lopez (Free Agent)

6th Man: Korver
11th and 12th man: Turner/Mourning

I should add that i play each game of my dynasty so stats could be a little unrealistic compared to sim. Dixon averages 10.7 rpg but only 8.2 ppg. So I would say that's quite decent for a rookie 1st rounder. Rowell contributes to this team in his def awareness but it doesn't show at all when i play and his stats suck. So maybe I should trade Hinrich for a SF.
