CPU Bumping it's Way to the Hoop?

I'm really getting pissed off at the way the CPU uses its guards to score. It doesn't have to be a good guard, since this is more of a gameplay problem than an actual question of skill or even the player ratings. A CPU guard on the perimetter will just walk its way to the basket. Not driving, but walking. Of course I put a man (or two) in front of him, causing collisions. The stupid bouncing effect will happen, which only serves to give the CPU more room to continue moving. Because of this, the CPU will just keep bumping, tripping, and stumbling its way to the basket, where it can get the easy layup or dunk.

The "double team" steal can stop this, if you can get a second player there in time. However, scrubs like David Wesley quite frankly do not deserve a double team, and other players shouldn't be left open just because some scrub is pulling this retarded move.

I tried lowering the CPU's short range shooting and layup percentage sliders. That does cut down on the number of cheap points the CPU can get with this tactic, but it also has an unfair negative effect on legitimate shots (for example, the CPU might start blowing open layups).

Does anyone else experience this annoying problem? If so, are there any slider changes or anything else that can prevent it?

I usually am able to get in front of them and get the charge. If that doesn't work usually I'll control another player on the opposite block and run-in to attempt a blocked shot if needed.

I notice it all too often, the CPU's guards getting into the lane far too easily. Sometimes bumping them works but even if it keeps them from getting too deep they generally fire up a shot that goes in as the shot clock expires. Not an unrealistic outcome per se but the frequency at which it occurs is frustrating.

Jamaal Tinsley always does it, he pisses me off in NBA live, every time i play against him, no matter what kind of players he plays with, he takes a lot of shots and gets 25-30 pts. He hits fadeaway 3's and jumpers, then he walks under the basket, stands there for 2 seconds, then shoots a layup i cant block that goes in.

I always press the "clsoe defense" button, and if the player goes by me i switch to some big palyer that can block shots and I stop the opposing player.

The solution: Remove the point guard position from the game.

It's ridiculous.

What I've had to do is turn up the User Blocking ability slider, and only be agressive on my blocking in these situations, the rest of the time kind of lay off. It's a pain, for sure.
