EASO v.s. Direct Connect "Diffrences?"

Postby trecenters on Thu May 11, 2006 11:04 pm

Is there really any diffrence in this besides keeping a record???

Are you even playing on dedicated EA servers in EASO?

Or is it just like on direct connect one person hosts a game and waits for a player??

Just askin because I am not sure what EASO is like on the pc. I do know direct connect is sort of lagish in the netcode.

Any info will be apreciated.

I'm not 100% sure but I think using the Direct Connect feature will eliminate some of the lag that you'ld have if you were using EASO. I'm probably wrong here but there's my two cents.

Yes, Direct Connect is easier on the lag, you won't get as much.

EASO is kind of like a chat room. You can create a challenge that appears as a banner- the other player can click to join the game. You can set passwords so you have to invite the other person in... or just have an open game. 1 on 1, etc.

<Shrug> People play really cheap on EASO. Don't expect a sim.

yea EASO is basically a cheesefest

IP play is the best because u get a smoother connection and you can play with your own roster as opposed to playing with the outdated default roster at EASO
