FSS in v1.08

First of all I would like to say that I really liked some of the additions of FFS in v1.08: Nate Robinson, Darius Miles, Gerald Wallace, Wally Szczerbiak, Mike Miller, Fred Jones ...

I would like to suggest some of the additions for the next update:
Gerald Wallace - Inside Stopper
Hakim Warrik - Highflyer
Stromile Swift - Power (instead of Highflyer)
Hedo Turkoglu - Shooter
Andre Miller - Playmaker
Jamal Crawford - Outside Scorer (instead of Playmaker)
Tyson Chandler - Inside Stopper
Lamar Odom - Inside Scorer
Josh Howard - Inside Scorer
Rasheed Wallace - Inside Scorer (why was this removed??)
Sam Cassell - Playmaker (instead of Scorer)
Raja Bell - Outside Stopper
Mehmet Okur - Outside Scorer
Jamaal Magloire - Inside Stopper
Chris Wilcox - Power
Mike James - Scorer/Playmaker

I would also remove the current FSS:
Zach Randolph (if he is a Superstar than why not making Rasheed,Webber... Superstars too?)
Quinton Ross (who?? can't be compared to Bowen,Eddie Jones,Kidd...)
Kirk Snyder (for real, Highflyers are VC,LeBron,Josh Smith... not him)

These are some of the most ridiculous suggestions Ive ever read.

Stro a power player are you kidding me: Hes not that type of player Highflyer is exactly what he deserves.

Ross is one of the leagues best defenders and puts Raja Bells Defense to shame.

Magloire is hardly a stopper, hes good solid defender but not a dominant defensive presence.

Wilcox is athletic but hes not a power player for the same reaason Stro isnt.

I wont even bother with the rest, but next time you wanna make suggestions how about using some logic/stats to back up your claims, your oppinion isnt enough.

That was covered after the last release if you want to go back and read the support thread for v1.07.

I don't think Stro and Wilcox can do all the dunks the Highflyer has, but they fit just perfact to the Athletic Power player dunks (should I remind you that there are two types of Power players: Dominant like Shaq and Athletic like Amare). Also about "Ross is one of the leagues best defenders and puts Raja Bells Defense to shame", I wouldn't say that about Bell who stops stars like Dirk and Kobe to numbers below of their normal stats.

I meant that for the moment, I don't agree those changes should be made and thus won't be making them. Perhaps at some point I'll see them as being more appropriate changes and make them but for now, I don't agree with boosting ratings for those players a little higher than they should be just to get the FSS abilities.

If a certain rating is already at a realistic level, the player is worthy of FSS moves and only needs a slight boost (say up to 5 points) to attain FSS abilities then I might consider it; I've done that before. But for the most part I prefer not to pad wherever possible.

The problem is there isnt a FSS ability that is a mix between high flyer and power, because swift and wilcox would fall into that category, but i'd say both are more power type players than highflyers just because i think they COULD do the power dunks they never do but i doubt they could do a windmill from the FT line.

As for the stats boosting Vaduoklis mentioned that Andre Miller has a 8.2 apg, as for other:
Gerald Wallace has 2.09 bpg (!)
Hedo Turkoglu has .403 3P%
Sam Cassell has 6.3 apg (9th in the league)
Mehmet Okur has 18.0 ppg, 460 FG%, 342 3P%
Lamar Odom's stats speaks for itself (around the same as Rashard Lewis)

About Wilcox and Stro I'v allready said enough about their dunks, about Warrik I think that he's one of the better dunkers in the league, but Andrew has the final word about those three.

Go watch some highlights of Stros dunks, thats how he scores and he does it alot more frequently than Wilcox. Just because Wilcox is athletic it doesnt meen hes goin out there dunkin on everyone hes not that agressive and thats why you dont see every athletic person in the game have highflyer. Because it would be too unrealistic.

And again Raja is a very steady defender but hes not in Ross's league when it comes to Defense. Ross is quicker, longer, and alot smarter on defense. Trust me look at your first post Ross WHO? If you dont know then maybe you dont know basketball as well as you think you do.

Trust me dog Im not the one who said Ross WHO? And gaurding Dirk with hands behind your back should be the first sign of bad defense if it happens to be true, which I dont really understand what case your tryin to make by sayin that seein as how great defenders put their hands in the oppositions face, but lets just chop that up to another thing you dont know about defense or basketball for that matter.

But heres a question I have for you, why would they put Raja on Dirk when they have Shawn Marion? Every game Ive seen with Suns vs Mavs its always Marion who gets matched up with him. And each and every game Dirk has gone nuts you know what he averaged against the Suns this year in 4 games?
29.5Ppg on 50.5% shooting, 12reb, 3.3Ast, 1.75Blks, .50stl, 3t.o.

So how is he holdin them below their season avg, those look like career highs all across the board, but If your talkin about years prior to this then I can take it a step further and show you what Dirk has averaged against any team that had Raja Bell on it but its not pretty. And why did you mention Kobe, Kobe is just disrespecting Raja bell and avg like 40 against the suns. So while you question my credability I can atleast back my statements up with stats/logic you on the other hand go strictly on what you think you see.
Again Raja Bell isnt in Ross League on defense. Raja is the better player but not the better defender.

So if you dont like hearing your statements bein called ridiculous atleast do some research before sayin them.

No, he's not. He's not even top 10 in blocks per 48 minutes. I don't think many agree that he's one of the NBA's top defenders. Defense and rebounding are his strong points and he's no slouch but he's not amongst the top defenders in the league.

The fact that not a lot of people have agreed with them so far, I feel, speaks volumes. However, I resent the implication that I'm completely clueless about basketball and indeed the ratings in NBA Live. Pestering me about suggestions I've already disagreed with will not make me implement them.

Besides, popular vote isn't necessarily the right way to go. A whole bunch of Kobe fans who are more one-eyed than others could post here and suggest all his ratings be in the 90s and strongly support each other on it, but that wouldn't make it right.

Look, I'm happy to consider any suggestions but suffice to say I don't really agree with what you originally posted. I'll give them more consideration but I won't promise I'll make the changes. If I decide against them, that's my decision for the meantime. Please don't keep pestering me to make the changes. Again - there's a couple in there I might be inclined to use, so I will consider them. But I can't guarantee I'll make more than the couple of the changes I feel are accurate (Andre Miller, Kirk Snyder to name a couple).
