EA Sports online.. how is it this year?

Well as I've been playing World of Warcraft less and less (finally), I've been playing a fair bit of NBA Live 06 on my Gamecube. I'm really enjoying it but itch to play with other people, like my good old days as DonatelloForPres on EASO.

I'm wondering how active the EASO (EA Sports Online) is this year with the PC version of NBA Live 06. Is it still free?

Bumpity. I'm just mainly wondering if it is still a free service, and if there are games pretty constantly- back in 04 it was awesome.

It's free, but it's pathetic because 90% of the people that play use cheap tactics to win therefore eliminating the fun factor.

yeah its still free and all, just not fun.
i stopped after like 3 or 4 games.

I stopped too. There was to many people abusing the FSS and things like that. I played a guy who put up 80+ shots with kobe in one game. BORING! That and everytime I played it was with the old rosters, not the NLSC ones. I always played with Phoenix cause they still had JJ.
