PS2 Gamepad Configuration on a PC

Postby mikeyv23 on Tue Apr 11, 2006 2:23 pm

Hey All,

I had a PS2 and NBA Live 06 for it, but sold it because I never play any other games for it. I did end up getting NBA Live 06 for my PC and an adapter to use a PS2 controller on my PC. I really like the PS2 controller over most of the PC controllers on the market.

I (like an idiot, ) did not however remember to write down or make a scan of the pages that show the controller settings for the PS2 version. I want to setup the controller the same way that it was on the PS2 as I am used to playing with that setup now.

I was wondering if anyone could send me a pic/scan of the page from the PS2 manual (I looked online and couldn't find one), or even just which button does what. I would greatly appreciate it and it would help a diehard NBA Live fan get back in the game! Thanks in advance to anyone who can lend a hand!! :D

This should really go in general issues shouldnt it? but anyway.....

given that the controller used in the manual is very similar to a ps2 controller, i would suggest that the layout of the buttons would be almost identical to that shown in the PC manual as far as positions of the buttons on the controller is concerned. just substitute triangle for 4, x for 2, square for 1 and circle for 3. 9 would be select, and 10 start. 5 and 6 are l1 and r1, 7 and 8 l2 and r2. it should pretty much be that.
