Dynasty Question

Sorry, this might be a dumb question, but I'm curious.

I just bought the game, and I'm wondering what this whole dynasty thing is.

Is it basically people telling other people about their single player games? or what? I'm confused

It's people playing a dynasty in Live and posting their results as recaps. Some of them add extra stuff too, like stats from other CPU controlled teams or a storyline that they follow. It's pretty much following their team throughout the season and letting others here see how they do.

Yes, and no. Some guys follow one player, but others do team recaps. The two newer dynastys with NLSC guys aren't what most guys do here.

I think I get it from reading some threads..

So basically you play 25 seasons that all tie in.. like you dont start a whole new one after each season, it just kinda ties into a lifetime type thing? :-D

They're not dumb; yes, we try to play 25 seasons in a row, although most dynastys die out after 1-2 seasons because so much work and time is put into the recaps that it gets boring. Check out The X's dynasty or Jing's old dynasty to get a feel of what they do.

is there any way to continue a dynasty after shutting the game down and taking a break? or do you have to continue playing all 25 seasons?

i know, this is a dumb question but i really dont know how to continue a dynasty

Don't worry, you can save/load dynastys, and of course, you can quit whenever you want to. In fact, you can save multiple dynasties, and rosters. Consdering each season consists of 82 games, playing 2050 consecutive games might kill you.

Yo do know that there is a thing called dynasty mode in NBA live, right? There, you can play 25 seasons in a row without having to start over after each season.
