Patches Not Working

Over the last week or so I've downloaded all of Seraph's shoe patches, a new Cavs court, and Pdub's sweat patch. I unzipped all the stuff into the SGSM folder but none of the above work. The only ones that work are ones that have their own installers, like Dahl's practice court and 20/21 for Seraph's shoe patches. Could anybody help me out?

sometimes when you unzip or unrar a file, it creates its own folder within the sgsm, so you need to go in that folder and take out the file and put em into sgsm. thats all i can think of for now
