ASST coach question

Postby ugoboom on Mon Feb 13, 2006 8:40 am

Does the CPU specifically train players? I mean, other than just having asst coaches. I know training happens regardless of whether or not you assign your coaches to players. But does the computer actually assign coaches? I don't see anyone going up really fast in CPU run teams. Not as fast as if a trainer was fixed on them all year.
Also, what is the point of a "shooting coach" who has a E in offence? hehe. I have seen some coaches not coaching their strength. Or does shooting mean that they already will boost shooting not taking into account their letter grade?

Any wise folks out there know this? Well, you don't have to be wise. just want answers. :P

I'm assuming they do, since those emails come in as rumours.

yeah, but if you don't assign coaches to the specific players, the coaches still train players...just randomly. I simmed a season without assigning coaching to any one and I still got a ton of updates on training. Just not in the areas I wanted and the players I wanted.
In that regard, I was just asking if CPU run teams assign coaches to players or is it just random as if you had not assigned them. That may be why CPU created rookies are horrible. Because they rarely get the one-on-one attention for the duration of the season. What do ya thin
