SuperStar DBF Editing?

when i edited players.dbf under saves I changed a few players to superstar under the superstar column ex. changed Gary Payton to playmaker by typing 1 under coloumn that seems to work but when i changed pierce to a highflyer he is not able to do those moves a couple other players can not use the highflyer or power superstar set is there another column to add numbers to?

VALIDSTAR, located near the end of the .dbf, is the total value for all of the FSS abilities the player has, whereas SUPERSTAR is just the current ones

thanks now the superstar ability can be toggled in game but still the superstar buttons for paul pierce as a highflyer and Alonzo as a Power do not work

I'm not sure why that would be, all I can say is make sure the VALIDSTAR is the right value, there's a thread stickied at the top of this forum that explains the SUPERSTAR and VALIDSTAR editing very well.
