I just have the patch to update rosters at the beginning of the season, but since you have Martin on your team you may have a more recent one which would change my info.

I've started a few Raptors dynasties now and you can make these trades right off the bat if you're trying to setup salary cap room at the end of year #1. Just to note, I usually Sim year #1 hoping to tank so I get a good draft pick and spend the year training Bosh, Villa and Graham (I also tweaked Villa's 3 point shooting and free throw shooting a little as well as Graham's 3 point shooting, since both are better than rated):

Rose to the Knicks for Penny. They have no interest in Rose but they'll accept the trade every time.

I'll try to remember these other 2 trades - Woods (or Sow - I forget which they like more), A. Williams (pf), A. Williams (pg) to Utah for Ostertag, Whaley and Harpring (all 3 expiring contracts). Then move Arujo, E. Williams and someone else I think to Indiana for Pollard and another player to match salaries.

Overall I think your salary situation stays about the same in year 1, but it frees up 30some million to spend after year #1.

Villa and Graham usually end up around 74-75 by the end of the first year and Bosh is getting into the high 80s so you have a nice core to build around and alot of money to spend to do it (unfortunately there are seldom any big money free agents to sign, though Ben Wallace is ALWAYS available if you want him).

my advice, build around Bosh, Villanueva, and Graham (he's really good in that game). Mike James is also a good player but you may be able to package him for something better

Trade Lorn Woods, Aaron Williams and Eric Williams for Josh Childress

Trade Rose for Penny/Keith Van Horn and get rid of some cap space

You'll save up like 26 mill of cap with these trades...

I'm playing a raptors dynasty and I traded Rose to to Knicks a few days before it actually happened.
The only thing is that I got Penny + QRich for Rose + Eric Williams. I can move Mo Pete to SF and get a good 3pt shooter in Q and get rid of Penny in offseason.

yes, get Qrich instead Rose, and i would take also Curry - he is nice center, and perspective player - after one season he'll be Power superstar playa!
only god can judge me
