Superstar Potential

Anyone know any players who are very easily capable of becoming superstars fast through practice and training. I want to make the right backbone in starting a future dynasty.

I'm a big fan of Telfair. Just train him as much as possible, and he'll become a playmaker in a month or two. He's extremely quick and athletic, but his shooting could use some work in order to become a bigger threat.

Deron Williams becomes a shooter and a playmaker in around 6-8 years but that isn't quick... but you said future...

He's FT goes up to like 98

I was hoping in about 5-6 years. I'm trying to take a bottom of the hole kind of team and turn them into the top (which is what I'm guessing a lot of you do). I'm playing as the Bobcats so I'm pretty sure that both Felton and Okafor can develop into key players, especially Okafor, but I still want to surround them with others.

another fast improver is chris paul he gets to 89-92 in 4 yrs

I been training Bogut, I've played through 3 years and about to start my 4th. He began at 73 rating and is now 92 with nice pretty nice stats.

Ins. Scoring: 97!!!

He is an Inside stopper and I am contemplating whether to train him into an inside scorer (need 7 FG and 13 Off. Aware) or Power (need 9 Dunk and Str).

The best in my dynasty have been:
Andre Igoudala, becomes the best defender in the league, ovrll 99
Chris Wilcox becomes a highflyer fairly quickly
Shaun livingston becomes a playmaker and inside stopper, gets in the 90s

Wilcox is one of the top guys I want. But I have Magloire and Vuu(awesome rookie C) at PF/C already. hmm... Course, I may not have cap space enuff to get Chris anyway.

so hold on, you are saying that if i train a player long enouph that will help him increase his ratings in the off-season? Coz when i train a player during the season his ratings go up by like 1 or in in diffrent catagories? Sometimes i think its almost pointless....
can someone explain this to me?

allamerican08: It all depends on how good the coach is, how good potential the player has, for how long time you train him at a time (1, 2 or 3 weeks, the more = better chance of improvement).
Of course if you train a bad player he won't become good unless you spend a few seasons of constant, good training on him.

dwight howard, chris bosh, ray felton, ben gordon, gerald green, martel webster, sebastian telfair, andre igoudala, charlie vallanueva, joey graham, emeka okafor, al harrington, marvin williams, these guys all easily become freestyle superstars if you have 3 decent assistant coaches as aposed to one good one.

Yeah, I used 3 assistant coachs on him exclusively for those 3 years. I also saved on the 2nd last day of each month and keeped loading until I got training improvments that I wanted.

well for me... i'm in my 2nd year and

Channing Frye improved to 71 overall (2 overall)
Nate Robinson improved to 73 overall (2 overall)
Josh Smith improved to 83 overall (3 overall)
Kobe improved to 96 overall (1 overall)
Dirk improved to 87 overall (i think its 2 or 3 overall)

so my players dont improve drastically but hey, i'm not always training them or playing every game... I want a true playmaker so who do you guys suggest i get?

Aint hating but i hate R. Duke, in his rookie year he averaged 24.1 points per game which is amazing (he's 66 overall too!) but he took about 400 shots in 20 games. I have T-mac and he takes 4 shots a game!
