game exits at year 3

Peace!

has anybody experienced thier game suddenly exits to windows on year 3 of the dynasty mode... for 3 consecutive times I tried to get past the re-sign player stage in year three... even if I manually go through the days one by one or have it automatically sim(ed) toward the draft picks... before the draft pick event occurs the game exits...

My system:

AMD Sempron Processor 2800+
1GB RAM
ATI Radeon 9550 (but the bundled driver says it's an ATI Radeon 9600)
120GB HDD
MSI K8N Neo v2 mobo

downloaded the NLSC rosters for 2k6 that's all.. and did some pregame trades

try a new dynasty, just sim to year 3 and see if anything happens

it is most likely to do with the pregame trades, whatever they are...

hmmm weird... i sim(ed) all the way to the third year and nothing happened.... I'm using the same roster though.

well from the NLSC 2k6 rosters I added derrick coleman, kendel gill, sprewell to the houston roster then saved the roster and played the dynasty mode... the only thing I did differently is before i played i re-installed the display drivers (ati radeon) and added hydravision to the ati driver options (the screen kept flickering everytime the game exited without cause, even if the monitor setting was pegged at a refresh rate of 75-85 Hz) so I rebooted and started a new dynasty with the results mentioned... BUT using the old save game that exited NBA live 2k6 at year 3 still causes the same error.

try doing a dynasty with the custom NLSC rosters, without editing it
if you want to change teams before you start a dynasty, go to roster management, and do it all in-game
saves chances of screwing it up

99% chance it happened because of those trades

It probably has to do with salaries of players released or retired... Happened to me when I was DBF editing in Live 2005... Try not to DBF edit anyone out of their team and into the free agents pool.

The same problem happens to me when I play one of the sims game. I found out it's my graphic card. I have Nidvia 256 on my labtop and the resolution is quite high. Everytime I start the game I have to switch back to default setting then switch back to the high resolution.
Hasn't happen to me in NBA Live 2006 yet.

the problem is that i did'nt edit anything using a dbf editor. now while playing the new dynasty it just exits intermitently. There was a time (playing a new dynasty) it just exited while i was just reading some of the messages in the PDA. weird. does nba live have a problem if I did'nt install the online programs? when I installed nba live it first asked me if i wanted the online programs installed, I answered no.
