Help With an SF?

Postby yo_penny1 on Sun Dec 25, 2005 11:12 am

Hey guys first post but long time viewer of this place, Im currently playing a knicks dynasty and my lineup looks like:

pg marbury
sg crawford
sf richardson
pf frye
c curry

I hate it when you have a good dynasty going but something isnt right lol, my need is a defensive Small Forward that can start. Not a really good player but someone in the 70"s. The proposed trade would be Quentin Richardson for a defensive SF. The knicks are really lacking a good defender and I was looking at these few options:

Sprewell
Shane Battier
James Posey (although very underated in def awareness 61)

any other ideas, thanks in advance :D

These are some 3's that can play def in some way rated in the 70's:

1) Josh Howard(Dallas)stl81

2) Andre Iguala(76ers)Stl81,Blk80,D.awr80,D.reb 80
I know he is over 70 but he's the best def 3 in the game

3) Darius Miles(Portland)Stl80,Blk73,D.reb70

4) Bonzi Wells(Kings)Stl80

If I were you, i'll go for Iguodala. Not only does he has good defense but he is strong and has a pretty good offense.

yeah thanks for the input guys, im going to try Battier and Igoudala out in a few games and see how they are.

my only thing with ai2.0 is he could be to good for my team lol.

i will have to trade QRich and Ariza to get him i believe but thats fine.

tayshaun prince is a good choice

pistons need a SF in game, so Q. might be able to trade for him

salary cap is a problem though

Tayshaun max out at 88 without training and Igoudala goes into the high 90's

you won't get AI2 for Rich + Ariza. No way.

Shane Battier is your answer. He's rated about 75, he plays D and has offensive game too.
