error before i start game

Sometimes when i click NBA Live 06 to start the game,
i get this error and the game doesnt start
but the real problem is that afterwards
i cant open any programs or do anything because when i click on something the program doesnt start
it jus shows the time sand icon next to my cursor
the comp doesnt freez but i have to restart
anyone know the problem?
please help

DBF problem....track the last thing u did before it started to not work..

ok thanks ill try to track my last move in dbf commander

k i know my last thing i changed was from the grant hill update
the readme said to change his color to 7 and his bodytext to 0
i did this but now i wanna change it back to what it was
what was his color and muscletext originally?

but i dont think that would stop the game from working...was there any major update u did..

i guess little things like that can mess up the whole game
