What Live is the best?

Talk about NBA Live 06 here.

What Live is the best?

Postby Leander on Tue Nov 29, 2005 8:31 pm

I have Live 95, 99, 2000 and 2003. I also know 2004. 2000 is great concering realism, 2003 has better graphics and animations than 2000 AND is also playable with my special sliders and rules.

I don't know if I should stick to 2003 or buy a new Live.

What is the best Live when it comes to realism and "buglessness"?
I don't care about sound, graphics or Allstar-weekend.

I liked 2003 more than 2004, don't know why. What about Live 2005 and 2006? I play Live for realism and statistics. I want my players to have the stats that they have in real life.

Regardless of graphics what Live would you recommend to me? A Live that has good realism and a low number of bugs.

Buy a new live is my suggestion

2004 is great, 2005 is uh, and Live 06 is the fashizzle

A Live that has good realism and a low number of bugs.

NBA Live 2000 is great :)

Rent Live 2006 though, and see what you think. If you are clever with the sliders, the settings, and maybe take off superstar abilities (if you like realism), you can have a really good game (Y)

I had a lot of fun with 2005 as well, IMO that was a very good game.

I play Live since NBA Live 99 on PlayStation, but then I got Live 2003 on PC and I started playing Live from this time on. I think Live 2004 was one of the worst Live I've ever played because it was too arcade. Live 2005 was for me the best. Live '06 is not bad but it's still not the perfect game I am waiting for.

I can't rent PC-games here where I live (Austria). You can only rent PS2 and other console games in DVD shops.

So I should rather go for 2006 than 2005?

I can live with bugs, it depends on the bug.

2002 is the worst out of all...kinda reminds me of live 06 on the 360(the way players run and stuff)
xbox 360 gamertag: Aqua Penguins

Nah man the live that is the real deal is 2004. The dunks, graphics, brightness, and realism is amazing in that game. I still play it.

2005 is the gayest

Don't forget that the patches make the games much more enjoyable. You may want 05 or 06 because of the multitude of patches available for those two.

And I'm going to see them in Toronto!
