A superstar question

If a 3 point superstar (let's say Ray Allen) is free on the 3 line, what is the best way to score:
1. an ordinary throw
2. superstar throw
3. does'nt matter

come to think of it, same question can be asked regarding the scorers...

to me is slingshot (superstar move) by pressing superstar button and shoot button.

I think that as long as you released them on the peak of the shot, they have an equal chance of going in.
But then you also need to count in how the defense is; if it is as you said far, far away, then I think either will work just as fine as the next (good time for a ffs follow through shot maybe); but if the defense isn't that far away, a ffs quick release shot will probably be more effective since the release will be quicker thus the defender will be further away when releasing it. Also, if the defender is rather close to you, the ffs fake pass then shoot move will be more successful since the defender will often not be able to get up and contest the shot (the quick release shot also works well when being guarded tightly).
